Arvika Festivalen

Thursday, Friday and Saturday it has been Arvika Festivalen...

many people around Sweden comes here every year to be at this event and party!  

Little Arvika was crowed!

Micke and I and a group of friend was there on Friday. 

First we went to pick the tickets up and went into the Festival area for just a little while to listen to Takida.

Then we had dinner and a few drinks at Annsofie and Joen and everyone went back to the Festival together.

It was fun and I had a nice time...too bad I had to go home before the others because I had to work the day after.

`Children free`

Yesterday afternoon Micke´s parents came and picked Luna and Devin up...

they will be spending the whole week in the summer house in Västkusten. 

It´s going to be fun for the children and a lot to do for Anette and Thomas ...but I am sure they will enjoy spending time with each other! Luna and Devin love their grandparents!
And Micke and I will have some quality and `quiet´ time.

It´s strange around here...very quiet but it´s a good thing! Everyone needs some `quiet time´.
Being around the children can be quite stressing and sometime out of controll...so this week it´s just going to be work, myself and spending time with Micke.

But I already miss them...

Räkbåten `Shrimp boat`

Today I worked 10 to 18. 

I had lunch with Micke and I found out that Anette and Thomas(parents in law) invited us to go on the `räkbåt`to have `shrimp dinner´at 18. 

They wanted to celebrate their 20th anniversary with us so they booked a table on the räkbåt. 

It was nice of them!

Now, I am going to bed...I am quite tired and I think I ate too much shrimps that I have a little bit stomacache.

to blog or not to blog?!

I have lost a little bit desire to blog...

well, I have not much to write about and now that I am working I don´t have that much time! 

But I will try to update my blog from time to time...! 

Anyway, I am enjoying the swedish summer...sunny and warm. 

It´s so nice to be able to sit out in the courtyard to grill...to play beachvolley,ride bicycle, sunbath, wear sandals, eat ice-cream, take a walk in the park or in the city...summer has many things to offers than winter! Well, some of these thing you can also do in winter but it´s not the same feeling! 

 Even if I will be working a lot this summer...I can still enjoy it after work...It´s still sunny and warm! 

Today it was first day for Luna and Devin at the `summer kindergarten´...It ´s situated in the other side of Arvika, at about 4km from where we live; so I will be taking them with the bicycle cart. It´s quite long but it´s a good exercise :)!

1´Birthday

My nephew Laurent turned 1 year old yesterday...

Too bad we missed his first birthday :(...

it´s like that when we live far away from each other!

In the city

The sun is shining...warm and not too hot...

so nice with a swedish summer! 

I wish the weather could be like this all year long :) !

In Italy right now it´s about 40 degrees ..too much!

Anyway, today I am off from work...

so the children and I will take a walk in the city soon. We will go to the market and buy berries. 

Then in the afternoon we are going to go to Karlstad to `Leklandet`, a quite big indoor playground! 

We have been there once...

We will be there with Jenny and her children Vendela and Linnea. 

It´s going to be fun. 

Elma´s birthday party

Yesterday we were invited to Elma´s birthday party. She turned 3.

Really nice Saturday!

 It was sunny and warm...

first we took a walk in the city,

then Mathias and Kalle followed us home to grill.

Then we went to the port to see ´Water Jump Competion´...

Later in the evening I had dinner at Olssons Brygga to celebrate Sara´s 30th birthday..just girls

It was nice and fun! Chitchating, drinks, and just chilling. 

Later in the night it was a little dancing too.

Bolla and Colin

So we received the call from Bolla and we went to meet them at the playground outside her apartment.

Now, the children and I going to have lunch: chili mince with pasta. 

Then Luna and Devin will go with aunt Sofia to Ingestrand to bath while I am at the hairdresser. 

Time to cut my hair..

This afternoon, at 13.30 I have an appointment with Hairdresser Jon at Noiz! 

 I am exited...it´s time to cut the hair short again!

Now, Luna is painting and
Devin is watching Dora The Explorer.

We are waiting for Bolla to call us..so we can meet up at the playground so the children can play.

Thursday

So today I didn´t manage to do everything i wrote on the last post...

I went to look for a Converse shoes for Laurent but they only had pair left: nr.18. I don´t know his nr so I have to wait untill my sister will let me know! 

I went to Am´s Delikatess and bought 30 packs noodles with different flavours and soya sauces. 

I bought a cap for Devin in Kappahl but I didn´t find anything for Luna.

Then we had lunch with Micke at the thai restaurant Royal.

In the afternoon, after Micke finished working we went to Charlottenberg Shopping Mall to look for Laurent´s shoes,shorts for Luna and a present for Elma. And no shorts for Luna...just 2 tops and one Italy t-shirt for Devin at H&M. I dind´t find any small Converse shoes eather :(! 

While I was in H&M, Micke and the children bought a present for Elma.

Now, it´s movie and noodles time!

Many arrends

Today I was thinking to do some arrends in the city: buy presents, shorts for Luna ,buy thai noodles, send a package. I don´t know if I manage to do everything...it´s not that easy to shop with 2 energic children. So maybe I will shop more tomorrow and on saturday so Micke can take them while I shop.

On saturday I am invited to have dinner at Olssons Brygga to celebrate Sara´s birthday. Then on sunday Luna and Devin are invited to a children´s birthday party, their kindergarten friend Elma turns 3. 

My nephew Laurent turn 1 soon too..so I have to find a present for him too...I think I already know what to buy: a cute small pair of Converse shoes. He probably has started to walk a little !
