What is a Challenge? I don´t think there is a right definitions for the word "challenge". Everyone has different definitions in their own mind. The only sure thing is that every single person is surrounded by challenges every day. A challenge doesn´t have to be big or very difficult, a small act or just going trough an ordinary day can be called a challenge.
I´ve met many challenges and I´m sure that I will have many more. I have had many challenges and many others that were not that significant. One of the biggest challenges was when i was 8 years old. My mother died a year earlier and I had to move to Italy to live with my aunt and uncle. The hardest part was to leave my family, especially my dad and my grandfather.
The challenge was to live in a totally different country with a competely different traditions, food, and language.
In was hard in the beginning but it got easier and easier. When you are a young child it´s easier to get used to new things and you learn it faster. But the scariest thing was to get use to the fact of living with two people that i had only seen a few times and that I was going to miss my family so much.
An other big challenge was when I was 21 years old when I became a mother for the first time. I gave birth to the most beautiful little baby girl whom I named Luna. I wasn´t expected to be a mother at that age. I was scared and not prepared. I was asking myself a lot of questions. How can a young girl take care of such a little and innocent creature without knowing anything about babies? Almost 5 years passed and with a new family member, a little boy born 2 and a half years ago, I have the answer: You learn it yourself. It comes naturally, and the challenge get easier if you have help from your loved ones.
In the same year Luna was born, i moved to Sweden, I had to learn a new language, and once again leave my family and friends. The story repeated itself all over again. Only this time it was for love, to build a family of my own. And these 5 years I+ve been here, I have been trying to make new friendsand get a job. It´s frustrating knowing that Ididn´t have a real job and this is another tough challenge.
I consider it a challenge just going throug an ordinary day at home with the children. It feels like a challenge only to get up in the morning, or just to go out on a dark and rainy day.
It seems that my life is full of challenges but I don´t see it in a negativr way. all the challenges i´ve been throug untill now made me grow as a person. It has made me more responsable and I´m able to see alittle clearer the reality of the world we are living in. Life itself is a challenge. Life is full with good and bad surprises.
But Life is worth living when you know there is people that cares about you and depend on you.
So meeting all kind of challenges is educational!!
